Friday Departure from San José discussion of regional differentiation in Costa Rica

Saturday Visit to Banana Plantation, meet with community members in Cahuita, Tour of Cahuita National Park

Sunday Return to San Jose, lunch on road in Africa, one of the oldest Caribbean communities

 

Organic Agriculture

Friday Departure for Caribbean, evening discussion of conventional and organic agriculture

Saturday Visit to banana plantation, organic farms, and farmers’ association

Sunday Cahuita National Park and have lunch with a women’s group on their organic farm
